Small, broad vase-shaped tree with glossy, dark green leaves that turn yellow in the fall.  White flowers mid-May followed by large, bright red, 3/8” fruit.  Silvergray bark exfoliates with age.  Thorns.  Full sun.  Less susceptible to rust.
